Japan Snow
Japan snow is so reliable. That’s one of the many great things about skiing or snowboarding in the Japanese Alps.
This last week has seen awesome quantities of snow falling in Hakuba and the other resorts in Nagano and Niigata prefectures – over 2 metres of fresh snow in 72 hours in some cases. Well, it has also been snowing in Tokyo. It is rare for the snow in Tokyo to accumulate on the ground like it has been lately. These photos, taken by Shibuya Town, will give you a feel for what it was like.
We particularly like shot number 8, showing Hachiko looking cold standing out there in the snow.
Pack your bags, tell the boss you need a snow holiday and get yourself to Japan for what is proving to be a fanstastic ski season. At Hakuba Luna hotel we provide great, friendly accommodation ideally located at the Sakka lift base. Bring on more Japan snow!
