Getting around Hakuba
There’s no need for any transport to get from Hakuba Luna to the snow. Hakuba Luna’s exceptional location makes it one of very few hotels that really are an extremely short walk to the lifts. Simply walk out the front door, cross the road, pass two small hotels and you’re at the base of the Sakka lift. The location is so convenient, it takes no effort at all to drop back into the hotel if you need a break during the day.
Shuttle buses to ski resorts
Complimentary shuttle buses for skiers and snowboarders to the other mountain resorts run on a specified timetable. One of the bus stops for these shuttles is directly outside the Hakuba Luna Hotel, which is very convenient for hotel guests.
Genki-go shuttle bus
Japan’s drink driving laws are very tough. There is a zero alcohol tolerance for drivers in Japan. The Genki-go bus is the answer. It runs a timetabled service in the evenings on 3 set routes – the green line, the blue line and the red line. The Villa Hakuba bus stop serviced by all three routes is directly outside Hakuba Luna Hotel. Tickets cost 200 yen
