Hakuba hotel has more blue bird ski days than the ski resorts on Hokkaido. Of course Hakuba Happo-One is famous as one of the major hosts of the 1998 Winter Olympic Games. It has also hosted various FIS World Cup events. Hakuba Happo-One hosted the men’s and women’s downhill, the giant slalom and the ski-jumping at the 1998 winter Olympics.
