| Hakuba Luna Hotel is a very friendly family hotel with the camaraderie of a ski lodge in a fantastic location in the beautiful Wadano Forest in Hakuba Happo. It has a Japanese flavour with western comfort.
Why choose to stay at Hakuba Luna?
Hakuba Luna Hotel is one of the very best located properties in Hakuba. It is often ski-in and it is a very short (less than 100m) slightly down-hill walk to the Sakka quad chairlift. Hakuba Luna Hotel was refurbished for the 2009-2010 ski season and underwent additional upgrading for the 2010-2011 season. Further upgrades are being undertaken for the 2012-2013 season. If you value convenience to the slopes, comfort, reliable friendly service and value for money, then this is the hotel for you. Also those blue bird ski days when the sun is shining and the snow is glistening make your skiing and boarding experiences very special. Hakuba receives massive amounts of snow but has more blue bird ski days than the ski resorts on Hokkaido. Of course Hakuba Happo-One is famous as the location of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games alpine events. We’re proud that Hakuba Luna Hotel was used by the Italian Winter Olympic team as their base. Hakuba Happo-One wouldn’t have been chosen unless the conditions were great. Test yourself on the top to bottom Olympic downhill run! Other features of note include:
